Its not really a miracle to see lots of people lag in Sof2 gold. The game uses Punkbuster, more weapons and more maps, and because of that, it requires more of your internet connection.
To solve this problem, there are 3 posibilities:
- Quit other programs like MSN, Windows Live Messenger, TeamSpeak or Xfire, as they take some of your bandwidth.
- It may sound unbelievable, but some people say it works: Launch your Sof2 gold, go to options, then internet settings, and select you type of internet, or higher. If you have a DSL connection in your house, but the settings put it on modem 33k, then it is possible that your Sof2 will only use 33k of your bandwidth.
- A final solution, for desperate players: Buy a bigger internet connection.
